How do I order a custom commission?
Twice a month, we open a limited number of orders for custom commissioned antler bags. These bags start just like our standard antler bags, but with a commission, you choose how the exterior looks.
1. Purchase your spot on the commission list via the product page. It will be listed as "commissioned antler bag".
2. After purchasing your spot, our team will reach out to you via email to get references and preferences for your bag
What should I expect from a custom commission?
These bags start just like our standard antler bags, but with a commission, you choose how the exterior looks. That said, these are still upcycled leather handbags, not entirely custom made-from-scratch bags. We source existing leather bags and make cosmetic changes to the exteriors. Changing things like materials and color aren't usually possible because of this. Interiors can't be changed, but we promise they will be lined.
Can I order an entirely custom bag?
Yes — we can make an entirely custom bag starting at $500. These are handled case by case, so reach out through our contact form and we'll see what we can do.
What is the return policy?
All sales are final. If your item arrives damaged, please reach out through our contact form within 3 days. If you ordered the wrong size, reach out within 24 hours. Commissioned orders are not eligible for returns. A 20% restocking fee applies to any approved exceptions.
When will I get my order?
We aim to ship your items within a 2-3 week turnaround. For commissioned bags, the turnaround time is 2 months.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. You will always know the shipping price before you purchase.
Can I do local pickup for my order?
Yes! Only local New York City pick up is available for purchases over $100. To set up local pickup in checkout, enter the discount code LocalPickupNYC. We'll communicate with you regarding the when and the where after purchase.
Where are your products made?
Our products are made by hand by our team in NYC and Madison WI. Our collaborative products are made by artists in NYC, Chicago, and Richmond VA.
How should I care for my item?
To keep your item looking its best, we recommend regular gentle cleaning and proper storage. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture and extreme temperatures, as these can affect the material over time.
For leather items, applying a high-quality leather cream or conditioner can help maintain softness, prevent cracking, and extend the life of the product. Use a small amount, test on a small area first, and apply with a soft cloth.
